Vapour Control Layer

A vapour control layer (VCL) is usually positioned on the inner side of insulation, It’s primary purpose is to prevent any water from passing through the layer. VCL helps protect building from the consequences of condensation when warm and moist air rises and condenses into a liquid on contact with a cold surface.

Building Papers

Building papers are commonly used to stop wind and draughts from entering into a wall they also act as a secondary barrier to moisture and water behind cladding. Building papers are a traditional product used in homes and have evolved over many years they’re perfect to use as well as being a multi-use adaptable building product.
